Todd Younggreen, President and CEO of the High Purity (Global Filter & PCI Membranes) Business Unit, founded TYGA Corp. in 1998 and operated the design and manufacturing of aircraft towing equipment there until 2002 when he negotiated the sale of TYGA to Brackett Aircraft Company. He founded Global Filter LLC in 1999 and operated the company out of Cedar Rapids, IA until 2012 when Global Filter LLC Joined the FGC family. A former Marine and Flight Instructor,
Mr. Younggreen was a State Trooper for the Indiana State Police from 1991-1994. He grew up in Indiana where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Goshen College.
VP – General Manager
Terry Younggreen, Vice President of Operations, joined Global Filter in March 2003. Terry has been a key team member in growth and success of Global Filter over the past 15 years and has a total 28 years of operational experience in retail and manufacturing. Prior to that, he served in the Marine Corp after graduating from High School (1987). After leaving The Corp. Mr. Younggreen joined a Colortyme franchise team in South Bend, In. starting as a delivery associate and finishing as the Regional Supervisor over 30 locations located in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan (1991-2002).
VP – Engineering & Quality
As Vice-President of Engineering and Quality of Global Filter since 2012, Ed’s 35+ years experience in the fluid filtration industry has built a solid foundation of technical and quality management within the company. In his career as a product engineer and technical executive, he has been awarded 29 US patents, and has designed fluid filtration products for business partners that include: Coca-Cola, Whirlpool, Amway, Shaklee, Ecolab, and Rubbermaid, among others. Ed has served on industry technical committees including the NSF Joint Committee for Drinking Water Treatment Units and the WQA’s Science Advisory Committee.
Ed received his BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and his MSME from Rensselaer Polytechnic University.
VP – Business Development
Brian McSherry serves the position of Vice President – Business Development since 2018. He joined Global Filter in 2009 and previously served as Director of Sales and Vice President – Sales & Marketing. Brian supports Global Filter’s business growth goals and has been delivering customer-focused processes filtration solutions to various industries since 1994. Since entering the filtration industry, Brian has been involved in distribution & manufacturer territory management, sales management, product design, product commercialization, and business development. His past experiences provide customers with the most cost-effective methods while reaching their specific requirements.
Brian received a Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing/Biology from Northern Illinois University.
Director of Sales – North America
Tony Santacroce is Global Filter’s Director of Sales and has been with the company since 2014. As a University of Iowa graduate with a B.A. in Economics, Tony started out in Global Filter’s accounting department before quickly moving into a sales role that same year. Tony’s career path has proven value to the company by driving growth in several regions – from serving Central Region for several years to moving into the New England region as the Northeast Regional Sales Manager. Tony now resides in the Director of Sales position and has recently relocated back to the Iowa office, where he continues to support the Global Filter sales and product management teams.
